SSB Construction, originally known as Salinas Steel Builders, was founded in 1946 and is now a third generation family owned business. For over 60 years the company was recognized in the community as steel contractors. They have done a tremendous amount of design and construction that does not include steel, however. SSB wanted to break the mold of being known solely as steel builders when they came to TMD. The company was ready to be known as a high end general contractor. TMD developed a brand strategy that kept the equity of the historic brand, while also making a clear statement that change was on the horizon. Since the redesign of SSB’s website, logo, brand, and print material the company has seen exceptional growth in business and brand identity.
