Sun Street Centers Gets New Look for 40th Anniversary - TMDcreative Designs New Logo, Letterhead, Brochures, Website

(SALINAS, CA) – TMDcreative announced today the launch of a new brand identity for Sun Street Centers. The upgrade includes a new logo and tagline, as well as letterhead and business cards, a completely redesigned Web site and new brochures about the nonprofit's wide range of programs and services.

The new logo is a modern, abstract sun comprised of bright, hopeful colors radiating from the name Sun Street Centers. The new tagline, "The Road to Recovery" explains the organization's focus on recovery-related programs and services, and provides a logical connection to their name, which is based on the address of their flagship location at 8 Sun Street in Salinas.

The brochures and Website (www.sunstreetcenters.org) feature the new logo and tagline, and incorporate the cheery color palette throughout. Additionally, photos of several locations are shown, including the Men's Residential facility and the beautifully renovated interior of one of the Employee Assistance Program residential apartments.

The Web site highlights Sun Street Centers' four key program areas - residential, outpatient, DUI classes and prevention - right on the home page for easy navigation, with drop-down menus for fast, at-a-glance information on the services each program offers. Also on the home page are the mission statement, most recent news and announcements, and quick links to the calendar of events, wish list, and online donation page.

The Web site enables Sun Street Centers to make their own updates to most sections, without any knowledge or experience with Web programming. The user-friendly editing functionality allows the modification of press releases, the wish list, volunteer opportunities, calendar, job postings and more. TMDcreative programmed the site to make it possible for Sun Street Centers to handle their own Web site maintenance as a way for the nonprofit to contain costs and help its employees and volunteers actively participate in communicating with the community about Sun Street Centers and alcohol and drug prevention, education and recovery.

In 2008-2009, Sun Street Centers is celebrating its 40th Anniversary of providing the most comprehensive and effective services for alcohol addiction and drug abuse prevention, education and recovery in Monterey County and beyond. Sun Street Centers operates five programs at nine locations throughout Salinas, Marina, Seaside and King City.
