TMD Awarded Website and Mobile App Honors

(SALINAS, CA) – TMDcreative in Salinas has won the 2011 W³ Award from the International Academy of Visual Arts for The California Agricultural Leadership Foundation’s (CALF) website design and the R&B Company’s mobile application, a resource guide for industrial and municipal infrastructure professionals, available on the Blackberry App World. Receiving over 3,000 entries, the W3 Awards honors the best of the Web and Mobile Apps, created by leading interactive agencies, designers, and creators worldwide.

The proliferation of mobile devices and the applications that accompany them is quickly dictating the need for businesses to become more competitive and offer these applications as an added value to their customers.  While applications for consumers have reached a critical mass, there is also a growing momentum for applications that serve businesses directly.

In addition to the Blackberry Operating System, TMD is also proficient at developing mobile apps for the popular Apple OS and Google’s Android platforms.

In the W³ category of nonprofit organizations, TMD took the Silver Award due to CALF’s clean, crisp, and colorful website design, an easy to navigate homepage, and several unique features. TMD created a content management system for CALF which allows them to update their own website information and a unique page was developed for CALF members to interact by leaving comments on the website.

Loren Booth, the CALF Foundation Chair, shares her experience of working with Nick Pasculli and his creative team.
