TMDcreative Wins at 30th Annual Telly Awards

(SALINAS, CA) – The 30th Annual International Telly Awards recently announced this year’s top honorees. Among them was TMDcreative, which was honored with a bronze award for its entry in the category of use of animation in a television commercial.

The Telly Awards, founded in 1978 is one of the industry’s most prestigious awards competitions honoring outstanding local, regional and national TV commercials and programs. This year’s competition included 13,000 entries from advertising agencies, production companies and broadcast groups of all sizes throughout the United States and around the world. TMDcreative’s winning entry, “CCFCU Nest Egg TV commercial,” came from a marketing campaign created for the Monterey County based credit union, Central Coast Federal Credit Union.

The 30th Annual Telly Awards recognizes the creative achievements of advertising agencies, production companies and broadcast groups of all sizes throughout the United State and around the world. The competition is recognized as one of the industry’s most prestigious awards competition.

TMDcreative is in the company of internationally recognized agencies and television networks, some of those included in this year’s awards are: Clear Channel Creative Services Group, Comcast, Discovery, Harpo Studios, and NBC Skycastle, just to name a few.

This year’s panel of international judges represented many of the world’s top advertising and video production professionals who are past winners themselves. Entries are judged in several creative categories using rigorous criteria. Judges look for submissions that have innovative and creative concepts, strong executions, and the ability to communicate and persuade.

Chairman of the judging panel, Richard Friley, the Emmy and Telly Award winning President of his internationally recognized production company noted, “As judging chairman, our judges are honored to have evaluated such an incredible body of work. The diverse pool of entries represents the best of traditional and online video and was an inspiration to us all. The quality of work exceeded our expectation, even in this challenging overall market and it is a true accomplishment for our winners.”
