During the world’s two-year hiatus and our now post-pandemic normal, print, digital, and social media trends have shifted from the aesthetically pleasing shots of final meals to a more “behind-the-scenes” storytelling of dishes. With such an influx of influencers in our media, consumers have been able to create deeper connections to products and food. This new direction has given everyday users, professional content creators, and brands an opportunity to further connect and engage with their followers. The surge of new video tools, in social media specifically, such as reels and stories, have set trends — forcing brands to look for new ways to differentiate themselves and break into new markets and audiences.
